Who AM I?

Ben is a London-based writer. I am Ben.

We are finding this a bit awkward. Ah well.

Hello, thanks for coming to my site.

I’ve written two books of a planned trilogy, about vampires and death magic and binge drinking. The first one is out in September 2026 with Tor in the UK and Grand Central in the US, the next in 2027 (all being well).

In my previous career I was a researcher, policy analyst and occasional diplomat, working for the UK Foreign Office and Chatham House, among others, mostly on Central Africa.
